On Thursday, November 7 Councilmember Tommy Wells and Arena Stage will host a job fair at Arena Stage’s Mead Center for American Theater (1101 Sixth St., SW). Motivated by the overwhelming public response to last February’s Looking For Good People job fair, which was attended by over 2,000 community members and featured partnerships with 18 participating organizations, Tommy Wells is once again partnering with Arena Stage and local businesses, non-profits and government agencies to host a second public job fair.
“Building on our previous success, I am pleased to host a second job fair with Arena Stage. This job fair will help connect DC’s growing industries with District residents seeking quality employment opportunities so that together we can build a great city for everyone to live, work and raise a family.”
Recruiting companies onsite will include Comcast, DC Water, Giant, Safeway, Specialty Hospital of Washington, United Planning Organization, U.S. Army and Unity Healthcare. Add additional organizations/companies.
