When the Brotherhood of Shiloh Men this month contemplate the question “Where do we go from here” as a call to action what better person could they turn to than the Hon. James E. Clyburn? His accomplishments are legion from Capitol Hill to the White House. Clyburn is primary liaison to the White House for the Democratic Caucus, plays a prominent role in messaging and outreach, and has a reputation as a consensus builder.
President Barack Obama has described the South Carolina Democrat, as "One of a handful of people who, when they speak, the entire Congress listens."
On Saturday, January 18, 2014, Shiloh’s Brotherhood of Men and guests at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. breakfast will be listening to Rep. Clyburn’s advice. This important event gets underway at 9 a.m. in Heritage Hall at Shiloh’s Henry C. Gregory III Family Life Center. Tickets are $25 per person.
