After the rally, nurses will deliver copies of a new patient care report to Council members detailing specific incidents of unsafe care that patients in DC hospitals have encountered while the District Council has failed to vote on the Patient Protection Act.

NNU, the largest union and professional association of registered nurses in the United States, represents 185,000 RNs across the country, including 4,400 in DC. RNs will be joined by several members of the DC Council who support this important legislation, as well as community allies.
