The Corcoran College of Art + Design and the Daniel DiTondo Foundation will be having Art Camp at THEARC (1901 Mississippi Ave SE Washington, DC 20020), Ages 12 - 18 from JULY 28 - AUGUST 8, 2014, Monday through Friday from 1:00 - 4:00pm.

Art Camp will explore the Anacostia river through integrated art projects using digital photography and mixed media. Students will investigate local environmental features by examining waterways and wildlife in THEARC's own backyard and take a boat ride down the Anacostia River. Students will also visit the Corcoran Gallery of Art to view the permanent collection and make connections to their artistic research. The artwork created during the class will be placed on display in the ArtReach Gallery at THEARC which will be open to the public.
