For those interested in applying, please review and complete the attached "SEA Background & Application" or refer to the "Join SEA" section of our website, www.environmentalacademy.us. The 10-week Saturday fall program will run from Oct. 4 - Dec. 13, 2014. We will meet from 8:45-1:00 each Saturday (Exceptions: one overnight Nov. 8-9; No session Nov. 29) and our meeting location is 745 8th Street, SE, near the Eastern Market metro station.

We love to connect our students to their local environment, and beyond, and see this as the most valuable benefit of our program. Added benefits of SEA include meeting peers from other schools and homeschools, developing mentor-student relationships with our SEA teachers, earning service hours for qualifying Saturday sessions, and adding a unique experience to high school and college portfolios/resumes.

Our student recruitment efforts focus on students in DC wards 5, 6, 7, and 8 and MD students within and near the Anacostia Watershed, but other interested students may apply.
