Five months after President Donald Trump took the oath of office, first lady Melania Trump and their son Barron have officially joined him as residents in the White House.

Trump confirmed shortly after his inauguration in January that his wife and son would continue living in New York at a Trump Tower penthouse until the end of the school year.

The first lady said last month in a statement that Barron will be enrolled this fall at a private school in Maryland.
