On an East Cost Tour from Boston, MA, acoustic powerhouses, The Dwells and We Avalanche, will play live at Solly's U Street Tavern at 1942 11th St NW, Washington, DC, 20001. Join them for an evening of progressive, folk inspired songwriting on Monday, Jan. 14th. Drawing from the common influences of American Folk music and songwriting stylings such as Elliott Smith, both Boston based bands pull audiences in with their intimate, unplugged feel. Also influenced by pop and noise music, We Avalanche puts new spins on a tradition they respect dearly, resulting in either a flutter of strings pulling rhyme into motion or a cacophonous rumble, as free as it is inspired.
