Hooping it Up at Barry Farms

“The Gates” at the Barry Farms Coliseum in Southeast were filled to capacity on Fri., July 10, as the Goodmen League played host to the King of Cali Streetballer Jay “Boogie” Brantley and his squad, the Hooptainers of Southern California. Brantley is a former point guard for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Rebels and has played basketball all over the world.

Brantley played overseas in the Bolivian League, where he was named MVP. The Hooptainers were no match for the Goodmen League, as they won 111-70. After the defeat, Brantley asked the Goodmen League Commissioner Miles Rawls, for a rematch.
