Divas running back Tiffany Matthews took the first handoff and then spun out of multiple tackles on her 50-yard touchdown to make it 56-0 to start the second half, and running back Okiima Pickett picked up her third rushing touchdown on the next possession with a 20-yard run and the Divas lead 63-0. The Divas secured their sixth division title in seven years.
“I want to thank our owner and coaching staff and give the credit to the players,†said Head Coach Keith Howard. The Divas will host the Pittsburgh Passion in a first round playoff game on Sat., June 27 with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
