The new Washington Mystics leadership team, including General Manager Angela Taylor and head coach Julie Plank, are seated on opposite sides of Mystics President Shelia C. For the 2009 season, WNBA teams must now carry a maximum of 11 players, as opposed to 13 players in past seasons.
“It’s going to be difficult, and there's going to be some times where the challenges are going to be difficult to overcome, but I'm up for the challenge, and that's what really motivates me,†Taylor said when she was hired.
