White House Says New Book Inaccurately Portrays First Lady AP

The White House has aggressively pushed back on a new book by New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor titled "The Obamas," accusing the author of inaccurately portraying conversations in meetings with the first lady and senior White House aides.

The book which goes on sale Jan. 10, claims that although Michelle Obama is a powerful voice in the White House, she's not welcome by all of the West Wing. Kantor has written that Michelle Obama is an assertive, opinionated and trusted adviser to the president, even though some inside the White House, Kantor implies, once preferred that the first lady be seen and not heard.

The White house has reportedly labeled the book as an over-dramatization of old news, adding that it based on interviews with people the Obamas have not spoke to in years.

Kantor reportedly interviewed 33 White House staffers for the book, but not the president or the first lady.

a bunch of stuff but all I ralecl is him getting down on one knee and holding out a massive fake rock. My first response was OMG is this a joke?! He said NO will you marry me! I think I said of course and started crying. We then proceeded to karaoke for about four hours and spent almost $200 at the box. Good times!!!
