The Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress went to Octavia Spencer for her character Minny in the movie "The Help."
Spencer won the same award last week at the Critics' Choice Association.
When Spencer walked up to accept her award Jan. 12, she confessed, "I'm not prepared. I wasn't a Girl Scout."
Spencer's memorable role was reflected on the menu at the Critics' Choice, too.
Inside, stars dined on a trio of Szechuan green beans, grilled filet mignon with carrot-ginger purée and crispy shallots and miso-glazed salmon on sticky rice. For dessert? Minny's chocolate pie, of course.
