Children’s National Emergency Department at United Medical Center

Children’s National Medical Center announced the opening of its new satellite emergency department at United Medical Center. This state-of-the-art, full-service emergency department opens to the community on Sept. 28.

The new facility includes 10,800 square feet of new space, and will be staffed by doctors, nurses, and clinical care team members from Children’s National. Children’s National faculty members are board-certified pediatric emergency physicians as well as national leaders in service areas including research, quality improvement, and education. The emergency department will treat the same kinds of emergencies that are treated at Children’s emergency department on Michigan Avenue Northwest.
