Washington Informer The St. Paul United Methodist Church in Oxon Hill, Md., where Rev. Dr. John Roland Shol is the Bishop and Rev. Dr. Ridney Thomas Smothers is the pastor, celebrated 218 years of serving the community on Sun., Oct. 11. Helping and Willing
Washington Informer Tabernacle Baptist Church in Northeast, where Rev. Dr. William B. Stroman, Sr. is the pastor, celebrated the 66th anniversary of the Helping Hand Club, Willing Workers and E. J. Bradshaw Memorial Club. The club members were asked to dress in matching uniforms while guest speaker Rev. Ralph Shorter, from New United Baptist Church, delivered the sermon on Sun., Oct. 11.
