Inaugural Congressional Bank Softball Classic

The Inaugural Congressional Bank Softball Classic was held on Sat., May 16 at the Guy Mason Recreation Center in Northwest. The day’s events included softball teams from D.C. public high schools competing in a city competition and an all-star game featuring the top high school players from around the District. The Congressional Bank Softball Classic joins the Congressional Bank Baseball Classic in providing D.C. student-athletes an opportunity to play in a city competition and be recognized for exemplary on-field achievement. The Congressional Bank Baseball Classic is scheduled for Sat., May 30 at Nationals Park.

“We are pleased to join with Congressional Bank in expanding the competitions to include the Congressional Bank Softball Classic,” said Erik Moses, CEO of the D.C. Sports and Entertainment Commission.
