A candlelight vigil was held over the weekend for Grace Deli owner Hae Soon Lim, who was found shot to death Thursday, June 14 inside her corner store at 7 and H streets in Northeast.

Police believe the shooting took place in the early hours between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. during an apparent robbery.

At the sidewalk memorial and candlelight vigil, that has become so common in urban cities, Theresa Mitchell said, "Oh my God not her. It's sad. They don't have any value for life."

Lim, 61, was known as "Miss June" to her customers. She leaves behind her husband and two children.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Sean Caine at (202) 497-4326 or Detective Anthony Paci at (202) 299-2058.

A reward is being offered by the Metropolitan Police Department in this case of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s) of this senseless crime.
