The Board of Elections and Ethics has scheduled training sessions for candidates seeking to fill vacancies in the office of Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner, candidates seeking office in the April 2012 primary election and individuals desiring to circulate petitions for initiatives, referenda or recall measures.
These training sessions are designed to inform participants of the Board's petition circulation guidelines and to answer questions about the process.
Training for candidates and petition circulators will be held at 12:15 p.m. the following Tuesdays in Room 280 North of One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street NW:
Oct. 11; Oct. 25; Nov. 8; Nov. 22; and Dec. 6
The training sessions will run for approximately 45 minutes. All are welcome to attend and invited to bring their own lunch.
