Discussion on His "Business Solutions to Socio-Economic Problems"

BETHESDA, MD - Robert L. Johnson, founder of Black Entertainment Television (BET), was at the National Press Club Wednesday (Feb. 1)  to discuss minority unemployment rates, limited access to capital for minority businesses and the accelerating wealth gap in the minority community.

Johnson, also founder and chairman of The RLJ Companies, was slated to discuss what he calls "business solutions to social problems" and discuss how corporations can enhance their existing diversity and inclusion practices by urging CEOs to adopt a voluntary version of the National Football League's Rooney Rule to level the playing field for minorities in corporate America.

The NFL's Rooney Rule gives fair interviews to minority candidates whenever a head-coaching or general manager position becomes available prior to making a hiring decision.

Johnson also planned to announce the launch of his new business designed to assist corporate America with identify minority talent for employment opportunities and minority businesses for vendor/supplier opportunities.

Good alrcite there i agree with all of it. I dont really rate him that much for our starting 11 hes just getting to greedy. Apparently stoke and bolton are interested but you know what rumours are like. With beckford it was fair enough hes not getting younger and he got us promoted. We just need to make sure we keep becchio and killa now. Mot
