This year's "Operation Pretty and Polished," an event that provides prom attire free of charge for students who plan on attending their high school prom, is bigger and better than ever with more than 1,200 selections from which to choose. To help prom-goers with their choices, local TV affiliates anchors will be on hand as personal shoppers.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 21 at the Boys & Girls Club, 4103 Benning Road in Northeast. For more information, 301-918-2347.
