Photo By Mike GreenhillThis bout will be a six-round rematch against the fighter that gave Mitchell (11-0-1, seven KO's) the only blemish on his undefeated record. Mitchell faced Morales on short notice in his third pro fight in March of 2008 in Cabazon, Calif. and fought to a four-round draw.
This bout will also mark the 10th straight time that Morales (3-5-5) has fought an undefeated fighter. Morales is winless in his last five contests.

Baltimore's Jessie "The Beast" Nicklow will take on John "No Mercy" Mackey of Montgomery, Ala. in an eight-round middleweight matchup. Nicklow (19-1-1, seven KO's) will step back into the ring for the first time since splitting two bouts with George Rivera in the fall of 2008. The last outing for Mackey (11-3-1, five KO's) was an eight-round majority decision loss to Cecil McCalla on April 30 at Martin's West in Woodlawn, Md.
Veteran receiver James Thrash was released by the Washington Redskins on Friday after failing a physical.
Thrash has been unable to practice during the offseason because of a neck injury that has him contemplating retirement. He said recently his decision could hinge on whether he would need surgery to keep playing.
"I talked with James and we agreed that this was the best way to proceed," coach Jim Zorn said in a statement. "James can focus on getting healthy and we can move forward. ... Though we had to make this decision, we are confident that James will be involved in some capacity within the Redskins organization."
MIAMI (AP) -- A judge has delayed a decision on whether a suspect in the slaying of Washington Redskins star defensive back Sean Taylor can withdraw his guilty plea.
A hearing was set Friday in Miami on the request by 21-year-old Venjah Hunte. But after a private conference with attorneys, Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy postponed the issue for another week.
The Washington Nationals made 51 selections over 50 rounds of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft. Nationals Assistant General Manager and Vice President of Baseball Operations Mike Rizzo and Director of Scouting Dana Brown made the joint announcement.
Over the three-day Draft, the Nationals selected 30 collegiate prospects and 21 high school players. Washington drafted 21 right-handed pitchers, nine left-handed pitchers, four catchers, 10 infielders and seven outfielders.
The Nationals became the first team to sign their first round pick, agreeing to terms with Stanford RHP Drew Storen (10th overall).
The 6-foot-10 forward helped Orlando to the NBA finals last season. On Friday, a person close to the Blazers confirmed that Turkoglu ended contract talks with them. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the negotiations.
Turkoglu opted out of his Orlando contract last week when the team acquired Vince Carter from New Jersey. Turkoglu was due $7.3 million next season, the final year of his $36 million, 6-year deal with Orlando. He averaged 16.8 points and 5.3 rebounds last season.
Earlier Friday, there were reports Turkoglu had agreed in principle with the Blazers.
