Golfer Tiger Woods is hosting a tournament at the AT&T National at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda this week for the third straight year, and sponsorship receipts are higher than ever. Woods said his foundation is not immune to the recession but fundraising is not a problem.
Last year the tournament drew more than 100,000 fans and rose over $2 million for area charities. Woods was unable to play due to a knee injury.
