Part of the half time activities of the 42nd Annual Turkey Bowl Senior High school football game on Thur. Nov., 24. at Eastern high School included honoring two past D.C. public school administrators. Frazier O'Leary and Edward B. Anderson received awards for services provided to the public school system in Washington D.C.
O'Leary was a teacher and coach at Cardozo High School since 1977. During his last 34 years he was assistant coach of the football team, boys and girls teams, tennis, and baseball. Anderson joined the D.C. public schools in 1980, taught instrumental music and served as band master at Hine Junior High and Dunbar senior high School.
