Josh Freeman connected with tight end Dallas Clark on a 15-yard touchdown pass to cap Tampa Bay's comeback win over the Panthers, in Charlotte. It was Freeman's third touchdown pass of the game for the Buccaneers (6-4).
Texans 43, Jaguars 37 (OT)
Matt Schaub threw a screen pass to Andre Johnson that resulted in a 48-yard winning touchdown in overtime as the Texans rallied to beat Jacksonville, in Houston. Schaub had a career-high five touchdown passes, completed a franchise-record 43 passes and finished with 527 yards passing, second most in league history.
Broncos 30, Chargers 23
Peyton Manning threw three touchdown passes and Von Miller had three sacks as Denver beat San Diego to go up three games in the AFC West. Manning had 270 yards and Miller finished the day with 13 sacks on the season, most in the NFL.
Patriots 59, Colts 24
Tom Brady threw three touchdown passes, the Patriots' defense returned two Andrew Luck passes for touchdowns and New England tied its single-game scoring record with a trouncing of Indianapolis. The first matchup between the star rookie quarterback and the three-time Super Bowl winner was no contest.
Saints 38, Raiders 17
Drew Brees threw for three touchdowns and Malcolm Jenkins returned an interception for a touchdown to get New Orleans back to .500 with a victory over Oakland. The Saints won for a fifth time in six games following an 0-4 start. Lance Moore grabbed two touchdown passes and Mark Ingram ran for a touchdown to help the Saints get to 5-5. They are now in position to make a late-season push at a playoff spot despite the season-long distraction from the bounty scandal.
Jets 27, Rams 13
Mark Sanchez led a turnover-free offense and Bilal Powell rushed for the first two touchdowns if his pro career, helping New York end a three-game losing skid with a victory over St. Louis. Nick Folk kicked two 51-yard field goals and Chaz Schillens scored on a 25-yard reception for the Jets (4-6), who were outscored in their previous two games 58-16.
Falcons 23, Cardinals 19
On one of his most difficult days as a pro quarterback, Matt Ryan delivered for Atlanta when it mattered most. Ryan fought through a career-worst five interceptions, leading the Falcons to their only offensive touchdown in the fourth quarter, and Atlanta rebounded from its first loss of the season for a win over Arizona.
