€I felt that tonight we were much more competitive," said Interim coach Ed Tapscott. €We came in playing the game very efficiently. With Gilbert in, it made the game a lot easier for everyone, coaches included. Caron [Butler] also had a good game coming back with 10 rebounds. I told Gilbert that I was going to put him on the floor and let him finish the game and I did that. At the end we just needed another possession. I thought he did a terrific job of orchestrating the game,€ Tapscott said.

€Early on he did not get caught up in the moment. Instead he took on the challenge that he was presented and got very involved on the defensive end. The beauty about his game is that he is an explosive scorer but he can distribute the ball just as well as anybody. He made the game a lot easier for the guys on the floor,€ Tapscott said.

€Gilbert hasn't been out there all season and Caron has been in and out, so to get him back and get Gilbert back shows some good fortune is coming around,€ Antawn Jamison said. €It was good to be running up and down the court with those guys again. It felt good to have familiar faces out there. We competed and played hard. Just as long as you compete at a very high level and give yourself a chance to win that's all you can ask for right about now. They [the young guys] are showing some consistency and playing hard. When things aren't going too well, they're not getting too low. When things go well, they definitely continue to get high. I'm definitely happy with the way the guys came off the bench and gave us a spark,€ Jamison said.
