The Kia Sedona: Perfect for Families

Some people still have families and need more than a two-seater car or a compact sporty vehicle. With that in mind, Kia continues to upgrade its vehicle selections to accommodate the needs of its consumers. The 2008 Kia Sedona is a cute minivan that is easy to handle. It€s perfect for families.
The Sedona earned a five-star crash rating in all four seating positions from the U.S. Department of Transportation€s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). It was also selected by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) as one of only 34 vehicles to earn the €Top Safety Pick€ award for its impressive performance with top ratings in frontal, side and rear impact crash tests.
€We are extremely proud that Sedona was the first minivan ever to earn the IIHS €Top Safety Pick,€€ said Len Hunt, president and CEO of Kia Motors America. €To continue to earn this honor - now for the third year in a row €" is yet another example of our dedication to providing quality vehicles equipped with the highest level of standard safety features available.€

Both Sedonas models offer a long list of standard safety equipment including six standard airbags (dual advanced front and front seat-mounted side air bags, and full-length side curtain air bags for all three seating rows).

The seven-passenger SUV is spacious with a simple-to-operate 60/40 split folding-into-the-floor third row seat to create a larger flat cargo area. One of its biggest drawing attractions is the DVD entertainment system. If you want quiet with a bunch of kids, don€t hesitate to buy this beauty.

Standard features include fog lights, eight-way power-adjustable driver€s seat, four-way power-adjustable passenger€s seat, heated power mirrors, an eight-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system with new auxiliary input jack, auto-dimming rear view mirror with HomeLink, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power rear quarter glass, trip computer with compass and a roof rack.

The manufacturer€s suggested retail price is $26,565. The 2008 Kia Sedona offers 16 miles per gallon (mpg) in the city and 18 mpg on the highway.
