DC Armor Prepares to Kick-Off Inaugural Season at the DC Armory

The DC Armor indoor football team, is gearing up for the team€s inaugural season in the District of Columbia. Playing in the AIFA Eastern Conference€s Eastern Division, the team begins play in the 16-team league on March 13th 2009 away at the Reading Express. To connect with fans to its action-packed, fast pace and high scoring brand of indoor football, the DC Armor will announce the availability of one of the most affordable single game tickets in town at $20 in conjunction with its regular season tickets ($155) and various value-pack season ticket packages which are now on sale.
The team is announcing its training camp set to begin on Feb. 23 through March 9 wherein the team will invite up to 40 players to attend. From its last tryout, the team has invited 15 players from the metropolitan area. The team€s training camp will be held at the Soccer Dome in Howard County, MD.

Ticket Packages
Single game tickets, regular season tickets and value-pack season tickets packages are available. The $20 cost for an individual game ticket makes it the one of the most reasonably priced ticket for a live professional sporting event in the District of Columbia. The re-configuration of the Armory as a venue to accommodate the Armor will make every available seat in the house a good seat with unobstructed views to see the action.The season ticket and value pack season tickets packages will include food packages, premium seating, group discounts and merchandise such as jersey€s and caps with season ticket prices starting as low as $155. €Securing player talent is an important step in building a franchise and we€re excited to get the ball rolling,€ said Danny James, DC Armor Head Coach, € We had over 140 people show up to our first open tryout and from that we were able to extend invites to training camp for a number of players.

Training Camp
The DC Armor will hold its first training camp beginning February 26-through March 6 2009 at Soccer Dome located at 7330 Montevideo Road Jessup, MD 20794 Phone: 443-755-0014. The organization has already extended invitation to a number of players to attend the training with 15 of them having ties to the metropolitan area.

ABOUT DC ARMOR
Owned by Arena Sports Partners, LLC, the DC Armor is an arena football team playing in the American Indoor Football Association. The regular season is 14 games starting in March and ending in June. Divisional and conference playoffs along with the AIFA Bowl, the league€s championship game, are in July.
