Fuquay-Varina, NC - FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW, the nationally syndicated sports talk radio show which places major emphasis on Historically Black College and University Sports, and www.boxtorow.com has been granted a seat in the press box to cover Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa on Sun. Feb. 1 at Raymond James Stadium. For the previous two years, the show has been granted week of credentials to cover the game, but no access on game day.
"This is huge for us to have access to a press box seat to be able to cover the biggest sporting event in the world," said Donal Ware, founder and CEO of DWCommunications, LLC, the parent company of FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW and the show's host. "Being recognized by the NFL and being able to fully cover its signature event is an honor."
"I remember going to Miami two years ago, being there most of the week, doing a live show on Saturday and hopping on a plane on Sunday to come back in time to watch the game on television. We have certainly come a long way. I am looking forward to being at the game."
FROM THE PRESS BOX TO PRESS ROW airs on 30 radio stations around the country. While the show focuses on HBCU Sports, the show talks all sports.
