Despite the steady rain fall on Sat., Oct. 17, Bowie State fans packed into the football stadium to witness their Bulldogs take on the St. Paul Tigers. From the start of the game one would have thought they were at the 2009 Mud Bowl, instead of a homecoming game. Throwing the football proved to be an impossible task due to weather conditions.

Bulldogs quarterback Emmanuel Yeager threw for 20 yards the whole game and Tigers quarterback Alwan Lee threw for a total of 12 yards and had four interceptions. The game was played strictly on the ground and the Bulldogs proved themselves to be top dog as they ran over top of the Tigers. The Tigers carried the ball 42 times for a total of 16 yards while the Bulldogs carried the ball 46 times for a total of 116 yards. The Bulldogs beat the Tigers, 14-0.
