The Washington Redskins lost to the New England Patriots 27-24 on Fri., Aug. 28 at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. Head coach Jim Zorn said he was €very pleased€ with quarterback Jason Campbell€s performance and he also praised the pass protection units.

€We were executing. When you get pass protection, you can do a lot of things. You can run those longer developing plays,€ Zorn said. €I was very pleased with how our offensive line played. They are improving each week. [The Patriots] have some tremendous weapons on their offense as well,€ Zorn said.

€We came out and had some fun,€ Campbell said. €We tried to execute a lot of different areas of the field. Last week I was a yard short [to wide receiver Malcolm Kelly.] This week I was a yard long. Next week? Right in the chest,€ Campbell joked about several errant deep throws.

At the Washington Redskins€ 26-yard line, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady saw wide receiver Randy Moss in single coverage with Redskins defensive back DeAngelo Hall. Moss cut inside Hall at the goal line and pulled in Brady€s pass for a 26-yard touchdown catch. Photo by John E De Freitas - WI Sports Photo Editor
