- National Rehabilitation Hospital Visit: Nationals players, including pitcher Drew Storen, will visit with patients at the National Rehabilitation Hospital from 11:30am to 12:30pm. The hospital specializes in treating persons with physical disabilities caused by spinal cord and brain injuries, stroke, arthritis, amputation, multiple sclerosis, post-polio syndrome and other neurological and orthopedic conditions.

- Back-to-School Drive: The Nationals will host their fourth annual Back-to-School Drive during the weekend series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Fans may donate new school supplies at the Center Field Gates from the time gates open through the fourth inning.

Backpacks, calculators, composition and spiral notebooks, crayons, glue sticks, loose leaf binders, new lunchboxes, paper, pencils, pencil boxes, pocket folders and rulers are among the supplies requested. The materials collected will benefit District of Columbia Public Schools. This year's recipients will be Browne and Wheatley Education Campuses.


- Washington Nationals Baseball Family Day: For the fourth consecutive year, the Nationals have partnered with the Smithsonian to host an exciting day of baseball-themed games, music and arts & crafts at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery. Nationals Pitcher *Sean Burnett and Infielder *Adam Kennedy will stop by the Gallery to answer questions and pose for photos from noon to 1:00pm.

- Youth Baseball Clinic Presented by Smithfield: Youth baseball players from Prince George's County and members of the Jr. Nationals will take the field for a youth clinic at Nationals Park. Nationals coaches will offer instruction on batting, fielding and pitching, and participate in a Q&A session from 10:00am to noon while a Nationals player is expected to sign autographs following the clinic.

Each participant will also receive two tickets to an upcoming Nationals game, lunch and a co-branded equipment bag courtesy of Smithfield.

- Inside Pitch Live: Hosted by MASN analyst Rob Dibble, the 20-minute discussion offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Nationals. This week's edition will feature Nationals Pitcher *Miguel Batista in the PNC Diamond Club between 6:10pm and 6:30pm.

- Long Haul Bombers: The Long Haul Bombers will stop by Nationals Park to showcase their homerun power during a pregame competition that kicks off at 12:30pm. The Bombers are a group of professional softball players who travel the country competing in softball home run derbies, during which three hitters each get 15 swings to hit as many home runs as they can.

- Me and a Friend: Through this special program, military kids receive complimentary tickets to bring a friend to Nationals games every Sunday through the rest of the season. The Nationals are the first organization to formally activate this initiative, which recognizes the unique challenges and sacrifices made by the children of military service members.

- Kids Back-to-School Supply Kit: The first 10,000 fans age 12 and under will receive a Back-to-School Supply Kit presented by Smithfield.
