The Washington Wizards will tip off their home opener, presented by Capital One Bank, on Tuesday, November 2 at 7:00 pm. when the team hosts the Philadelphia 76ers at Verizon Center. The game will feature the first-ever matchup between the Wizards' John Wall and the 76ers' Evan Turner, the top two picks in the 2010 NBA draft. All fans in attendance will receive a Wizards beanie courtesy of Capital One Bank.

"We are excited for the 2010-11 home opener at Verizon Center," Wizards Executive Vice President Greg Bibb stated. "We have worked hard over the past 100 days to prepare for opening night and we are eager to deliver an entertaining in-arena experience and unquestioned value to our fan base.

Wizards Opening Night presented by Capital One Bank promises to be a night to remember with star players, an enhanced game presentation and the opportunity for our fans to live the game like never before."

The regular season debuts of Wall and Turner will be preceded by an innovative 3D opening night video shown on the jumbotron (with other intro videos presented in 3D before select games throughout the season). Produced by Base Productions and N4D, the opening video will mark the first time that an NBA team will use a 3D format in arena.

There will also be a new digital scorer's table courtesy of ANC Sports Enterprises. The upgrade to ANC's DLPII Digital Courtside Signage System will enable the Wizards to offer corporate partners more creative flexibility while enhancing the game experience for fans.

Fans will also enjoy a new lighting system that will consist of 24 Vari-Lite 3000 Intelligent Lights and will add drama, excitement and a new feel to the in-game atmosphere. Each light is specifically programmed to create a precision light show featuring different colors, patterns and logos throughout the game or event.

In addition to the technical enhancements to the game-night experience, Wizards season ticket holder Wolf Blitzer will return this season to host his "Situation Room" game preview and new public address announcer Ralph Wesley will begin his tenure as the "Voice of the Wizards."

Fans can also still expect to see returning favorites such as in-game host Autria, DJ Big Tigger and the Chipotle burrito dash, as well as other in-game giveaways, promotions and videos. The Wizards are also introducing a new season long "All-You-Can-Eat Seat" ticket offer which will provide a $30 upper level seat and access to an all you can eat menu including hot dogs, popcorn and ice cream.
