The Prince George's County Department of Family Services Women's Resource Center will host a resource day entitled, "Sharing & Giving Back in the Community," on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. The purpose of the resource day is to provide information and help families learn about resources in the county.

"We want to enrich the lives of women in Prince George's County through workshops and seminars," said Patricia Morris, Director of the Department of Family Services. "Today more than ever it is important for women to come together in an effort to empower one another."

The Women's Resource Center is committed to providing quality customer service, training opportunities, and referrals for services. Information and service include referrals for stress management, parenting, health issues, domestic violence, interviewing skills for jobs, and resume writing. The goal for the September 28th Resource Day is to create a platform where agencies can share information about the services they provide.

Sharing & Giving Back in the Community Resource day is free and open to the public. Registration required. Door prizes and refreshments will be served. Call 301-265-8405 to RSVP.
