The Bulldogs of South Carolina St. scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and never looked back, defeating the Howard Bison 31-0 on Senior Day at Greene Stadium.
State's defense held the Bison to a total of 189 yards on offense for the entire game keeping Howard out of the end zone.
Senior running back Terrance Lefall was a bright spot for the Bison, rushing for 109 yards on 30 carries. Senior wide receiver Willie Carter led all players with 3 catches for 46 yards.
The Bison, with the loss, dropped to 4-5 on the season, 3-3 in the MEAC Conference.
The Bison travel to Hampton, Va., to face the Pirates of Hampton University Sat., Nov. 5 and that game will start at 1 p.m.
In college games this weekend, also on Saturday, North Carolina Central travels to Delaware State. Morgan State travels to Bethune-Cookman.
Savannah St. hosts Norfolk State. Florida A&M hosts North Carolina A&T. Virginia Union hosts Fayetteville State and Virginia State travels to Gardner-Webb.
In the BCS run for the money, it's LSU at Alabama live on CBS network with the kickoff set for 8 p.m.
CBS made a trade with ABC and Disney to allow them to change the time of the game from 3p.m. to prime time in order to allow for nationwide coverage between the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked teams.
Tickets, according to Forbes and Stub Hub, are priced at $353 for upper-level seats; the lower-level seats are priced at $ 3,100 and up.

In the high school football game of the week, Friendship Collegiate defeated HD Woodson 46-6, scoring 46 unanswered points to improve their record to 8-1 on the season.
Albert Reid rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns as Collegiate showed their dominance over the Warriors.
Collegiate, a charter school, does not participate in the DCIAA league which is comprised of public schools in Washington, D.C.
In other scores, Coolidge defeated Bell 35-6 to set up their battle with Dunbar. Dunbar beat Wilson 37-0 to improve to 6-3 on the season. Spingarn beat Anacostia 26-12. Roosevelt blanked Cardozo 23-0. Ballou beat McKinley 24-18. Churchill improved to 8-1, as they beat their neighborhood rival, Wooten 31-14.
Curtis Kamara and Lasane Keita combined for 253 yards on the ground to lead the Bulldogs to their eighth win of the season.
In games slated for Fri., Nov. 4, Coolidge hosts Dunbar for first place in the DCIAA Western Division and the regular season crown.
In other games,Anacostia hosts HD Woodson. Ballou entertains Friendship Collegiate.
Spingarn travels to McKinley. Roosevelt hosts Bell and Wilson travels to Cardozo. All games start at 7p.m.
