ASHBURN, VA. -Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley and wife, Christy, in partnership with Tanya Snyder, wife of Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder, and the American Cancer Society hosted the fourth annual All-Star Survivors Celebration on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at Redskins Park for 20 area women currently battling breast cancer.
The breast cancer survivors or "All-Stars" attending the event were pampered, supported and celebrated by a host of players, coaches and wives serving as "Team Captains."
The "All-Stars" indulged in pink-themed hors d'oeuvres while being treated to an afternoon of pampering that included receiving a brand-new wig and scarf, a makeup session with a licensed cosmetologist, $300 worth of makeup, a new pair of jeans from Gap Inc and a "Bosom Buddy Basket" donated by the IIIB's Foundation. The ladies also received a private tour of Redskins Park led by Chris Cooley and a custom-made pink and burgundy Redskins jersey.

Dressed in their custom-made pink and burgundy Redskins jerseys, the "All-Star" breast cancer survivors will be special on-field guests and will welcome the team onto the field during player introductions.
This event is one of several initiatives upon which the Washington Redskins and its players will be embarking during the month of October in support of the NFL's Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.
