The Hoyas of Georgetown scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to secure a 21-3 victory over the Howard Bison Sat., Oct.15 at Greene Stadium.

The Hoyas (5-2) rushed for 191 yards against the Bison defense as Howard suffered their fourth loss of the season.

The Bison, now (3-4) this season, hosts NCA@T University Saturday (Oct. 22) for its homecoming. Kickoff is 1 p.m. at Greene Stadium.

The Bulldogs of Bowie St. defeated Lincoln (Pa.) 22-10 to improve their record to 4-3. The Bulldogs travel to Elizabeth City State Saturday, kickoff is 1 p.m.

In other college scores from Sat., Oct. 14, Norfolk St. (6-1) defeated Hampton (3-3) 34-24. South Carolina St. (4-3) beat Georgia St. 23-13. Florida A@M (4-3) over Savannah St. (1-6) 47-7. NCA@T (4-2) defeated Delaware St. (2-5) 42-24. The Aggies face Howard next Saturday.

Bethune Cookman (3-3) beat Fort Valley St. (1-6) 58-30. Morgan State. (4-3) over North Carolina Central, (1-5) 52-3. Grambling (2-4) shut out Concordia (Al.) 44-0. Alabama St. (6-1) over Prarie View, (4-3) 20-7. Winston Salem St. remained unbeaten at 6-0 with a 62-7 win over Livingstone.

Johnson C. Smith beat Virginia Union 26-19, and Elizabeth City defeated Virginia Union 26-19.

In high school football Friday Oct. 14 ,H.D. Woodson beat McKinley 25-0. Coolidge beat Roosevelt 53-12. Wilson shut out Bell, 42-0,and Dunbar blanked Cardozo 51-0. , 20-12.

Wise beat Parkdale 41-6. Suitland blanked High Point 47-0. Riverdale Baptist over KIPP 28-6, and Friendship Collegiate over Poly Prep (N.Y.) 35-28. and DuVal defeated Oxon Hill 48-8.

In games to be played this Friday, Oct. 21, Anacostia travels to McKinley. HD Woodson hosts Ballou. Cardozo hosts Bell, and Dunbar travels to Roosevelt. All games start at 7pm.

On Saturday (Oct. 22), C.H. Flowers hosts Bowie. DuVal travels to E Roosevelt. Oxon Hill travels to Parkdale and Laurel hosts Wise, while Fairmont Heights hosts Friendly. Coolidge hosts Wilson.
