"Women of God Empowered by the Fruit of the Holy Spirit" is the theme for the Women's Day celebration at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1500 Ninth Street, NW, on Sunday March 11.

The dynamic Dr. Elizabeth Conde-Frazier, who has written on multicultural issues, is the featured speaker at both the 7:45 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. services.

Dr. Conde-Frazier holds a Ph.D. from Boston College, a Master of Divinity degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.

She is author of "A Many Colored Kingdom: Multicultural Dynamics for Spiritual Formation, " and is well qualified to speak on issues of diversity. In her book she describes relevant parts of her personal journey and key issues on race, culture and ethnicity gleaned from research and teaching.

Shiloh will host a reception for Conde-Frazier and community guests immediately following the 10:55 a.m. service in Heritage Hall South, adjoining the church sanctuary.
