Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III told reporters Thursday "without a doubt" that he expects to be healthy and fully participate with the first-team offense when training camp begins next month.

"One, it's a mindset and then two, it's how I've felt and how it's progressed," Griffin said of his right knee, which he injured during Washington's playoff loss to Seattle on Jan. 6. He had surgery to repair a torn ACL and LCL three days later and was projected to miss seven to nine months.

Griffin has intensely rehabbed the knee, maintaining that he'll be ready for the start of the season. Training camp begins July 25 in Richmond.

"I felt good today," Griffin said. "Every day you want to feel better and that's how it's been. I started throwing on the run a lot more, doing a lot more plant throws out of the play-action, the type of throws that we do in our offense... I also bumped up the long-distance running. I'm feeling more comfortable doing everything, and the coaches are saying I look a lot better."

The Redskins ended three weeks of organized team activities Thursday at Redskins Park, going four straight days for the first time this offseason.

Griffin said he was further encouraged this week after going all four days without any soreness in the knee.

"I feel confident in my body and the way it's been responding. Training camp's a month and a half away. That's why I say without a doubt. I think it's the right target if I'm healthy."
