Robyn LaJoya Charles, daughter of legendary singer and songwriter Ray Charles, has been named spokeswoman for the Women's Radio Network (WRNW1), a global community for women professionals and entrepreneurs.

Charles, who followed her famous father's footsteps into the music industry, will debut her song "Let's Talk About It" live Sept. 23 on the network, which assists women in educating and promotion through online radio shows, online seminars and special live events.

On WRNW1, Charles will work with famous hosts including award-winning journalist Lisa Singer, KC Armstrong of "The Howard Stern Show" fame, and Dr. Joyce Buckner, a relationship doctor who has made several appearances on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

Charles said that by working with WRNW1 she has gained more credibility, giving her an opportunity to expand the ability to expose her own work throughout the listener base of the online radio station.

"The women of WRNW1 are all unique and impressively powerful in their own right," said Charles, who views the partnership as "an opportunity to have a platform to express my views and to help women build a network of their own."
