'Harlem Nights' Series Returns for P.G. Renaissance Festival
LANHAM, Md. — The sponsors and collaborative partners of the Harlem Renaissance Festival for Harlem Nights will pay homage every Tuesday during the month of April to the Harlem Renaissance Era. Beginning April 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., come out and listen to some of the most talented area artists in the Washington metro area.
This year, Harlem Nights will kick off at a new location: J'Ollie's Restaurant and Bar, 9023 Annapolis Road, Lanham, MD immediately off Exit 20 of the I-495 Beltway inside the Days Inn Hotel. To welcome guests, J'Ollie's will offer drink specials and light hors d'oeuvres. Festival sponsors will provide give-aways such as tickets, music CDs, books and more to winners of our Harlem Nights Trivia Contest. Our nightly host is nationally acclaimed Poetry Man "Komplex," who always brings a few of his "true spittin" poetic friends with him.
The Harlem Nights Series spotlights the performances of local artists and poets. Join our media partners, WMMJ FM102.3 and The Flow Internet Radio @ Rocktheflow.com.
