“No good thing will the Lord God withhold from them that walk uprightly.†(Psalm 84:11)

The enemy comes after you harder when there is victory in store. Every one of us has a purpose and destiny. He has something great for you to do. This is your decade. This is my decade, a decade when I remind myself over and over again, “…no good thing will the Lord God withhold from them that walk uprightly.â€
It is a decade when we must pray without ceasing, stay connected to His Word and speak His word out loud, to increase our faith. The scripture also reminds us, that faith cometh by hearing and faith without works is dead.
When your prayers go unanswered, count it all joy; read His Word. The Psalm of David reminds us, “No good thing, will the Lord with hold.†You might as well begin to praise His Holy Name, because you’ve been spared. You prayed about something that was not in God’s will for your life.
How many of us have gotten that job we prayed so hard for, instead of waiting for the right job, when you get your Word from the Lord. Soon after arriving on the job, trouble begins!
Satan is after you each and every day. You find yourself in serious trouble, praying again, asking, “Lord, get me out of here!†You didn’t listen for a Word from the Lord; you put yourself there.
Don’t you know that God said in His Word, “I came to seek and save the lost.†Just because the environment seemed to be filled with decent, Christian types don’t mean a thing. Sometimes it is actually safer to work with sinners; at least you know that they need the Lord.
Don’t take the easy way out. How can you evaluate whether you’re where the Lord led you or if you are some place you simply wanted to be? Look around and observe. If it is a “good thing†- then you are okay. However, if it is not a good thing, ask the Lord God to help you to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. And ask if He put you in this messy situation because he had a message for you.
The Lord God has not given us a spirit of fear and His desire for each of us is to be at peace, which includes your mind, body, spirit and soul. In the scripture, according to Ephesians 3:30, His Word says “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.†We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
When you finally got that new job or that new husband or wife, you had a lot of happiness. But remember, happiness is temporary. But joy comes from on high, and it is permanent. Always pray for joy and leave happiness to people still out there in the world. Change your vocabulary.
