U.S. records a 2-0 victory over Honduras

Santino Quaranta, right midfielder/second striker of D.C. United, broke the deadlock between the U.S. and Honduras on Wed., July 8 at RFK Stadium.

“It was a very special night for me, personally. To be back wearing the jersey was probably more special. Just to be back with the team and to listen to the anthem was very emotional for me because it's been such a fun and long road back. It was a special night,” Quaranta said. In the first game Haiti defeated Grenada 2-0.
