In his soon-to-be released book, former FBI Director James Comey has declared an all-out war on President Donald Trump, likening him to a New York-style mob boss.

In his new memoir, “A Higher Loyalty,” Comey who was abruptly fired last year by Trump, calls the president “unethical” and “untethered to truth,” adding that the controversial commander in chief gave him “flashbacks to my earlier career as a prosecutor against the mob.”

In typical Trump style, the president responded in a tirade of tweets, calling Comey “a liar and proven leaker.”

Comey’s book, which goes on sale Tuesday, has been described by a CNN reviewer as “the most devastating, contemporaneous takedown of a sitting president in modern history.”
