Pepco Employees Honored for Exceptional Customer Service

Pepco has recognized 10 outstanding employees with the company’s Premiere Customer Experience Award for their work over the past year, delivering exceptional customer service.

The award given annually, recognizes employees who made a difference in the lives of customers through assistance and support on important topics, such as energy bills, energy assistance programs, or service requests.

“A call into one of our representatives may be one of the most important interactions a customer has with us,” said Mike Poncia, vice president of customer operations for Pepco Holdings. “Providing customers with a personal and thorough experience is only possible through the hard work and dedication of our team members. This award provides us with an opportunity to acknowledge those who exemplify this commitment and celebrate the continued focus on customer centricity across our company.”

The employees, who were chosen based on feedback provided by customers and their demonstrated ability to bring together their knowledge and listening skills, include:

• Robin Butler, a customer service representative from District Heights, Md., who has worked for Pepco for 18 years.
• Lauren Cabell, a customer service representative from Fort Washington, Md., who has worked for Pepco for one year.
• Jennise Donahue, a customer service representative from Buffalo, N.Y., who has worked for Pepco for seven years.
• Ashlie Morris, a customer service representative from Delmar, Md., who has worked for Pepco for seven years.
• Amelia Pittman, a customer service representative from Laurel, Md., who has worked for Pepco for eight months.
• Loretta Richardson, an internet communications representative from Landover Hills, Md., who has worked for Pepco for 23 years.
• Devon Rollins, a customer service representative from Lusby, Md., who has worked for Pepco for eight months.
• Lorie Shields, a customer service representative from Washington, D.C., who has worked for Pepco for three years.
• Natasha Simmons, a customer service representative from Temple Hills, Md., who has worked for Pepco for four years.
• Stephanie Taitano, a customer service representative from Lusby, Md., who has worked for Pepco for two years.
