(Sporting News) – The Chicago Bulls’ reportedly ramped up efforts to acquire Kevin Love materialized into a trade offer, with the franchise presenting Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a package that includes “a few other assets” as well, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Recently signed big man Nikola Mirotic could be another piece in the proposed deal, based on an earlier report from Sheridan Hoops. The Sun-Times could not confirm Mirotic was included in the trade offer.

In order for the deal to go down as is, there much be a 30-day grace period before the trade can be finalized.
