Spreading Warmth During the Holidays

Winter Warmth is an opportunity for people experiencing homelessness or in need to collect free winter supplies, allowing families to direct their limited income towards other necessities, such as rent.

Now in it’s seventh year, Winter Warmth is a collaboration between Friendship Place and several religious congregations throughout our region—many who helped to establish Friendship Place over 25 years ago. Members of the congregations collected thousands of winter items such as coats, scarves, hats, gloves, boots, long-underwear and warm socks and donated them to Friendship Place to distribute to anyone in need at Winter Warmth.
