Just because school ends doesn’t mean student meals must end as well.
Free breakfast and lunch will be available all summer long to for those 18 and younger at more than 40 locations as part of the District’s annual Summer Meal Food Service Program.
Nutritious meals will be served at community programs, faith-based programs and recreation centers from 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Participants will not have to be in a summer school program or have to show ID to receive a meal.
D.C. Public Schools are responsible for all civil rights requirements under the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the program.
