Black men have the highest death rate for prostate cancer of any racial or ethnic group in the U.S., and equitable access to screening is critical to reducing prostate cancer deaths and saving more lives, which is why the PSA Screening for HIM Act is being proposed to remove cost barriers to prostate cancer screening.
