President Donald Trump, his three oldest children and his businesses are suing two banks to keep them from turning over financial records to House Democrats who have issued subpoenas for Trump’s financial records.

The Trumps’ legal action, filed Monday, is against Deutsche Bank and Capital One.

“The subpoenas were issued to harass President Donald J. Trump, to rummage through every aspect of his personal finances, his businesses, and the private information of the President and his family, and to ferret about for any material that might be used to cause him political damage,” according to the lawsuit., which also notes that, “no grounds exist to establish any purpose other than a political one.”

Deutsche Bank will reportedly begin producing documents regarding the subpoena on May 6, and Capital One will comply by May 6.
