Renowned journalist April Ryan, who got into a heated exchange earlier this year with a former Trump administration aide, said she did not receive an invitation to the annual holiday party at the White House.
Ryan, a Washington bureau chief for American Urban Radio Networks, said in an interview with a local news outlet that the oversight was no mistake, as she believes officials in the Trump administration “don’t like me.”
In March, she and then-White House press secretary Sean Spicer engaged in a tense exchange over alleged White House scandals.
Ryan, also a CNN political analyst, said it is the first time in her career as a White House correspondent she has been excluded from the guest list.
